Our Team
Meet the smiling faces of the Big Wave Chiropractic team.
Dr. Kelly wright, D.C.
A Myrtle Beach native, Dr. Wright is passionate about bringing principled chiropractic care to the Myrtle Beach community.
Dr. Wright first discovered chiropractic care while attending Presbyterian College where he studied biology and played baseball. During his collegiate baseball career, Dr. Wright experienced a traumatic head injury that significantly impacted his health.
After finding little relief from medications and realizing that the medicines were just putting a band-aid on his symptoms rather than addressing the underlying issues, he began exploring chiropractic care. He found that it was exactly what he had been searching for – a natural approach to address the underlying cause of his symptoms so his body could heal itself and return to a state of optimal function.
Within a few visits Dr. Wright could feel a significant shift in the function of his body and found that his symptoms began to subside. It was at that point that he fell in love with chiropractic and dedicated his efforts over the next few years towards attending Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Dr. Wright graduated Sherman College of Chiropractic in early 2017 and decided to bring his passion for chiropractic back to his hometown. Dr. Wright is excited to share chiropractic in the Myrtle Beach area and is determined to make a wave in the health of his community through Big Wave Chiropractic!
sarah kyles
A Myrtle Beach local, Sarah attended Saint James High School and the College of Charleston where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Public Health.
Sarah was drawn to chiropractic care after meeting a friend that worked in a chiropractic office. Having been previously diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, she was looking for relief that did not include a laundry list of medications. Sarah was able to alleviate so many of her chronic symptoms through principled chiropractic care and never looked back. Shortly after graduation, Sarah decided to pursue her passion for promoting health and well-being. She was drawn to Big Wave Chiropractic for its approach in engaging the community, as well as its patient-centered commitment.
KRISTIN LABAR-SLOCKI
After missing the beach, sunshine and southern hospitality of the Grand Strand for nearly 23 years, Kristin and her family recently moved back to Myrtle Beach.
Kristin attended Stony Brook University and is a former Special Education Teacher. Over the last six years, she invested her time in promoting wellness as a health and safety advocate at both the state and federal level.
Kristin was drawn to chiropractic care while her son was suffering from symptoms of a post-Lyme's diagnosis. After seeing her son’s amazing progress and relief of his symptoms from chiropractic care, she and her family became advocates of principled chiropractic care. Kristin's passion for health and wellness education and personal experience of the life changing impact of chiropractic care makes her a great fit and asset to the Big Wave Chiropractic team.
